Countabil is a mobile app published by VRKronicles (Ramkumar V R), based in Chennai, India. This policy explains how Countabil handles information — in short: it doesn't collect any.

No Accounts, No Data Collection

Countabil does not require you to sign up or log in, and it does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts, no servers, and no backend of any kind — the app has nothing to send your data to, even if it wanted to.

Where Your Data Lives

The counters you create and their tap history are stored only on your own device, using your operating system's built-in secure, encrypted storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore-backed encrypted storage on Android). VRKronicles has no access to this data, cannot see it, and cannot recover it — it exists only on your phone.

Export & Import (Backups)

Countabil includes an optional Export feature that lets you save your counters to a file, which you choose where to store — for example, in your own cloud drive, email, or file manager, using your device's standard share sheet. This is entirely under your control. VRKronicles never receives a copy of this file and has no visibility into it. Import simply reads a file you select, back into the app, on your device.

Third-Party Services

Countabil does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. The app does not use ads. Installing and updating the app is handled entirely by the Google Play Store (and, in future, the Apple App Store), governed by their own respective privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Countabil is a general-purpose utility app and is not directed at children. As it collects no data from any user, it does not knowingly collect data from children either.

Changes to This Policy

If Countabil's data practices ever change — for example, if a future update adds an optional account or backup feature — this page will be updated first, with a revised "last updated" date above, before that change ships.
